After losing a bloody war to the human race, the other races were forced to leave their homes.  Now many years later the other races beginning to regain some of what they had left behind, city's, markets, and a government that led all the people of its race.  Now they are hearing stories of human war flags being raised once again.  After sending envoys to the human race and having none return, the five minor races meet deciding that they will not be wiped out again will band together to fight the second human invasion.

Prologue Alison stood alone in the middle of the stone room.  Firelight from hanging lamps flickered across the walls and ceiling showing pictures of a people long forgotten.  Writing surrounded each picture, no doubt describing what the picture meant.  The floor looked as through it were a solid slab of granite, even though she knew that to be not true.  Slowly she got up from the crouch she has been in.  Allison pulled out her pistol, looking around the room braced for anything.  Slowly she moved so her back was to the wall.  What was going on here?  This could
